“Master” Pamakid Takes on the World!

Pamakid Runners were represented at the World Master Championships in Finland by John Spriggs on Tuesday. Sporting his TEAM USA uniform and Pamakids socks (see photo), John ran down in the 35M cross country race to help fill out the USA team in that division. It was an 8K course (4 laps of a 2K loop). John averaged around 6:10 pace and finished in 30:48, helping the USA to a 4th place team finish. Next up for John is the 10,000 on the track next Tuesday (Aug. 4) – get those socks washed! — Andy Chan
